1. Who this policy applies to

This policy applies to zemcheck.com and the Zemcheck mobile app. If you create an account, use a Bubble, upload photos, receive notifications, or contact us for support, this policy applies to that activity.

2. Information we collect

We collect the information needed to run Zemcheck and keep the app reliable.

• Account and profile data such as your email address, display name, language, theme, and timezone.
• Daily planning data such as weekly plans, daily tasks, task completion, timed tasks, and streak-related records.
• Photos and related metadata when you upload baseline or daily proof photos.
• Bubble activity such as Bubble membership, comments, reactions, nudges, and notification history.
• Notification data such as push tokens, notification preferences, and stored in-app notifications.
• Technical data needed for security and delivery, such as request logs, device platform, and basic diagnostics.

3. How we use your information

We use your information to operate the product you requested and keep it secure.

• To create and manage your account and authenticate your sessions.
• To save your plans, daily progress, photos, streaks, and Bubble activity.
• To show your content to the Bubble members you explicitly share it with.
• To deliver notifications, reminders, nudges, comments, reactions, and Bubble activity alerts according to your settings.
• To prevent abuse, spam, fraud, and security incidents.
• To answer support requests and improve reliability.

4. When we share information

We do not sell your personal information. We only share it when necessary to run the service or when you choose to share it inside Zemcheck.

• With the Bubble members who are meant to see your shared daily progress, comments, reactions, or completion status.
• With service providers that help us run authentication, databases, file storage, hosting, and notifications.
• With Apple or Google when notification delivery or store functionality requires it.
• If required by law, legal process, or to protect users, Zemcheck, or the public.

5. Photos and private content

Daily and baseline photos are used to support the accountability features of the app. Photos are stored in our cloud infrastructure and are shown only where the product flow allows them, such as your own account or the Bubble context you chose to participate in. We do not use your photos for advertising.

6. Notifications and nudges

If you enable notifications, Zemcheck may send app notifications about nudges, comments, reactions, Bubble events, daily completions, Bubble completions, and your own timed task reminders. You can turn specific notification categories on or off inside the app settings. We also apply backend rate limits and buffering to reduce spam.

7. Service providers and infrastructure

We use third-party service providers to run Zemcheck securely and reliably.

• Supabase for authentication, database services, file storage, and related infrastructure.
• Expo and mobile platform services for app delivery, push-notification support, and build tooling.
• Apple and Google for app distribution, notification channels, and store-managed billing when subscriptions are enabled.
• Website, hosting, and operational providers that help us deliver the site and API securely.

8. Payments and subscriptions

If subscriptions are enabled in your version of Zemcheck, purchases are processed by the relevant app store, not directly by Zemcheck. We may receive subscription status or entitlement information needed to unlock paid features, but we do not store your full payment card details.

9. Account deletion

You can delete your Zemcheck account inside the app. You can also use our public delete-account page.

• The public deletion page is available at https://zemcheck.com/delete-account.
• Some data may remain temporarily in backups, security or fraud records, notification delivery records, or legal and compliance archives where retention is necessary.
• We may keep limited information for operational, anti-abuse, or legal reasons and to verify that a request belongs to the correct account.

10. Data deletion and retention

We keep data only as long as it is reasonably needed to operate your account, preserve your planning and streak history, provide notifications, resolve disputes, and meet legal, security, or anti-abuse obligations.

• When account deletion is processed, we aim to delete or anonymize active account data that is no longer required to provide the service.
• Some data may remain temporarily in encrypted backups, server logs, fraud-prevention records, notification delivery records, or legal and compliance archives.
• Retention exceptions exist so we can restore services, investigate abuse, comply with law, and protect users and Zemcheck.

11. Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect the service, including authenticated access, encrypted transport, permission checks, and abuse controls. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to limit unauthorized access, misuse, or loss.

12. Your choices

You can review or change parts of your information inside the app, including profile details, photos, and notification preferences. If you need help with access, correction, or deletion requests, contact us at zemcheck@zemcheck.com.

13. Children's privacy

Zemcheck is intended for users aged 13 and older. It is not intended for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child provided personal information to Zemcheck, contact us so we can investigate and remove it if appropriate.

14. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy as Zemcheck evolves. If we make material changes, we will update the date on this page and may provide additional notice in the app or on the website when appropriate.
